Developing Your Ministry

Developing Your Ministry (developing.asp)

The new man in Jesus Christ needs to be established in his faith. Establishment is the process of building the disciple into a deeper relationship with Jesus Christ and other Christian men.

Almost the first half of Jesus' public ministry was spent developing relationships with men who would ultimately become the leaders of the church. His goal was for men to become rooted, established, and built up in the faith. He desired for these men to have a solid knowledge of Himself and to know what it was to obey Him, trust Him, and follow Him for the rest of their lives.

Establishment is the key to both our personal faith journeys and our efforts to develop fully functioning men’s ministries Ask yourself the following questions:

  • Am I growing in my relationship to Jesus or have I hit a plateau?
  • What part of our ministry is intentionally discipling new believers?

We believe that mutual encouragement and accountability within a small-group setting is the best way to foster ongoing spiritual formation.
