Worldwide Evangelism

“But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you; and you shall be my witnesses both in Jerusalem, and in all Judea and Samaria, and even to the remotest part of the earth.” – Acts 1:8

Each man must develop a vision of God’s worldwide purpose and his place in it. God’s purpose is to redeem all people from every tongue, every tribe, and every nation.

Each one of us, if we call ourselves one of the redeemed, has an important role to play in His worldwide mission. Since we have been blessed, we are to be a blessing to others. Salvation carries with it the responsibility of missions and outreach.

This often means that Christians must give up their own comfortable view of the world. To be a part of God’s work in the world, some men will be called to leave the culture they are familiar with and go to another, and others will be called to share Christ right where they are. But every disciple must begin seeing the unsaved world through the Father’s eyes. Every man must have an evangelistic heart focused on winning the lost.
